First Residential Camp of 2010; the first residential weekend camp for children from the LRF's school and community rugby projects was a huge success with more than 120 kids spending the weekend developing their skills and taking part in team-building activities.
National Team Selection Camps Underway; the LRF is currently making use of the SEA Games athlete's village in Sikeut to put Lao national team hopefuls through their paces. The men and women's teams have a comprehensive fixture schedule planned for 2010.
One Business-One Player Initiative Launched; the LRF is pleased to announce the launch of the One Player-One Business scheme, which provides small businesses and individuals with the opportunity to get involved in supporting an individual national team player. Full details of the scheme are available here.
School and Community Rugby Continues to Grow; school and community projects have continued to expand, with the Vientiane Drug Rehabilitation Centre also benefitting from the opportunity to experience the benefits of participating in the sport of rugby.
