LAO rugby , 2010 and has begun with a bang

2010 and has begun with a bang, with the first major event of the year already over. The ANZ Vientiane Tens was a great success over 2 days with men, women, boys and girls taking part. Results and photos from the tournament are available on the LRF's website here.

In other news, the LRF has recently secured grant funding from the Australian Government through the Australian Sport's commission. This is the 3rd year the LRF has successfully accessed these funds and they have played a key role in the growing strength of the sport in schools. February has also seen the start of National Team training in preparation for the upcoming international season. Finally, final participation figures for 2009 were also made available and it is great to see that the sport is continuing to grow in popularity.
